What I Did in GSSoC 2024 πŸ”₯

  • Wrote 20+ posts on LinkedIn about GSSoC
Throughout the program, I shared my experiences, tips, and insights, helping to spread the word about GSSoC and encourage others to participate.

  • Wrote 12+ blogs on GSSoC experiences and Postman insights
I documented my journey and the things I learned, especially about working with Postman APIs. These blogs helped others understand how they could get involved and make the most of their time in GSSoC.

  • Achieved Top 250 Contributor status
I worked hard to make valuable contributions and was proud to be recognized as one of the Top 250 Contributors in the program.

  • Completed the Postman API Challenge
This challenge helped me sharpen my skills with APIs, and I was happy to complete it successfully.

  • Contributed to more than 3+ projects
I didn’t just stick to one project; I explored multiple and contributed to over three, gaining valuable experience along the way.

  • Proposed the idea for project discussion forums, which was successfully implemented by GSSoC
One of my proudest moments was suggesting a project discussion forum for better collaboration, which GSSoC adopted. The post about this idea even got 10k+ views!

  • Uploaded educational YouTube videos on GSSoC
To help even more people, I created videos explaining GSSoC, the projects, and my experiences.

While I made some significant contributions, my main focus was always on educating others and sharing what I learned with the community.

I believe I would be a great fit as a mentor πŸ§‘β€πŸ« because I enjoy helping others.

Honestly, I feel like I promoted GSSoC more than their campus ambassadors, with over 20 LinkedIn posts and 12 blogs.

Maybe it’s time for some swag? πŸ˜„
